Spiritual Direction

Spiritual Direction is an ancient practice of the Church and has been a consistent feature of monastic life. Although the term is widely used in a variety of spiritual settings today, at Iona House we are seeking to recover and embody a distinctly traditional Christian form of this practice that includes a clear telos or goal: union with Christ via His Body the Church. Our direction seeks to be grounded in the wisdom, faith, and practice of the Great Tradition of the Christian Church. We offer two related yet different types of Spiritual Direction
