Great Tradition Lecture

Lecture Topic: The Priority of Contemplation

Friday May 8, 6:00pm

Following Friday Night Feast we will enjoy a lecture from world-renowned author and professor Rev. Dr. Hans Boersma. The lecture + Q&A will last approximately 75 minutes.

Hans Boersma is the Order of St. Benedict Servants of Christ Professor of Ascetical Theology at Nashotah House Theological Seminary. He is a Dutch-Canadian, internationally-noted theologian and prolific author with expertise in patristics, spiritual interpretation of scripture, and 20th century Catholic thought.

The Great Tradition Lecture Series seeks to highlight important aspects of the Christian faith and practice from the first 1,000 years of the Church.

Ascension Day

Thursday, May 14, noon at the Village Barn

Join us for a special midday prayer service in which we highlight the significance of this high holy day in the Christian calendar. Following the service we will enjoy a brown bag lunch fellowship time together.
