Friday Night Feasts
4:30-7:00pm (and later, as desired) each Friday
Join us for a community BBQ (w/ vegetarian options) & potluck on the back deck of the Village Barn. The gathering begins with Evening Prayer at the Village Chapel at 4:30 and continues with the BBQ and a time of sharing / connecting. We feast each week in honor of a particular saint (and learn a bit of their story). Guests, volunteers, and local community members are all invited. Children are welcome!
Iona House provides hotdogs, buns, condiments, chips, plates, and utensils. Others are encouraged to bring a side dish (fruit salad, salad, dessert, drinks, etc.)
RSVP helpful for first time guests (details provided about directions, parking, etc.)
November Community Day

Guest Lecture: Dr. Gerald Sittser
TOPIC: Back To The Future - Why it makes sense in this cultural moment to turn to the distant past for wisdom.
Saturday, November 16, 3pm @ The Iona House Village
Bestselling author and scholar Dr. Jerry Sittser will be with us for an engaging conversation about the profound relevance of the early church to our present moment. The event will begin with a lecture by Dr. Sittser and then will be opened up for Q&A. Evening Prayer will follow the event along with a reception.

Advent Celebration // Feast of St. Nicholas
Saturday, December 7, 2024 • 1pm - 4pm
You are invited to join us as we enter into a season of longing and anticipation! Enjoy a wreath-making workshop, a chance to hear the story of the REAL St. Nick, hearty snacks, warm drinks, fellowship, and a bonfire throughout the afternoon.

Advent Lessons & Carols

Join us for a special edition of Friday Night Feast: hot soup, bread, salad, and more (whatever side dishes people bring)…
…Followed by our 2nd Annual Lessons & Carols service in the Village Barn consisting of readings, hymns, and a homily as we anticipate the coming of Jesus that we celebrate in the Feast of the Nativity (Christmas).
Dinner at 5pm
