So much happening!
During our sabbatical / transition, I didn’t do any blogging. But there has been a lot happening. We’ve done an enormous amount to clear the land and begin to prepare for site plan development. The first step was hiring a two man crew (with me as the third) come out for seven days of brush clearing. The crew had a fancy (expensive) tractor with a “masticating” forestry management unit on the front of it. This device chewed up the underbrush and small trees into wood chips. Pretty exciting stuff!
